Key Points Early data on mitral TEER indicate that decrease in cost trends is primarily attributed to decrease in length of index hospitalization and relatively stable 30‐day readmission rates. The addition of functional MR in the population set and a more stable, less expansive operator pool will affect outcomes over the following years and should be included in cost analyses. Additional baseline patient characteristics, optimal medical therapy and longer follow up will provide more information regarding mitral TEER outcomes and costs.
