Abstract

Abstract2‐Hydroxy‐dimedon, dargestellt durch Hydrolyse des 2‐Diazo‐dimedons mit Schwefelsäure, besser unter Zusatz von Kupferpulver, erweist sich als ein aci‐Redukton. Aus seiner Sublimierbarkeit und Löslichkeit in gesätt. Kohlenwasserstoffen wird auf eine Chelat‐Struktur geschlossen. Es bildet eine 1:1‐Kupferkomplexverbindung und wird durch diazotiertes Anilin in normaler „Diazo‐Spaltung”︁ in das Mono‐Phenylhydrazid der α‐Oxo‐γ.γ‐dimethyl‐adipinsäure umgewandelt; Dehydrierung liefert das 5.5‐Dimethyl‐cyclohexan‐trion‐(1.2.3)‐hydrat.
