AbstractWe present Frequency Analyser, an AndroidTM application for measuring the fundamental frequency of a sound wave with very high precision in a frequency range between 100 Hz and 11 kHz. The application allows exporting the data of frequency as a function of time to an ASCII file. Several examples of application to Physics and Engineering teaching experiments are presented. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
