AbstractPVTx‐data for the water‐n‐hexane system are reported in this paper. The data cover a temperature range from 523 to 623 K and pressure range from 2 to 16 MPa at different concentrations. The low pressure compressibility measurements were used to determine second and third virial coefficients for the water‐n‐hexane system. The values of the parameters in the square well potential are derived from virial coefficients data for pure components and binary mixtures water‐n‐hexane.
