Abstract

SummaryMuir‐Torre Syndrome (MTS) was first coined by Muir et al in 1967 and Torre in 1968. It is an autosomal‐dominant disorder characterized by combination of visceral disorder and sebaceous neoplasms. This syndrome is a subtype of hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer. In most cases, it arises from germline mutation encoding mismatch repair (MMR) proteins.
