Dr Harney and Messrs Hart and Grey have produced a beautiful slide atlas of fluorescein angiography to help guide the general ophthalmologist. The goals, as stated in the preface, are to describe the indications and interpretation of fluorescein angiograms of common retinal disorders. The atlas style emphasizes the use of illustrations and maintains a concise text. The fundus photographs and angiograms demonstrated are of high quality and are excellent clinical examples of the conditions described. All photographs in the atlas have corresponding slides in an accompanying notebook, allowing one to possess a nice slide collection of these disorders as well. After a brief introduction, a highly informative and descriptive chapter on the basics of angiography is presented. Reviewed are the basic scientific principles of fluorescein angiography in a very understandable format, supported by helpful diagrams and charts. This chapter alone is worth reading by ophthalmologists, photographers, and even ophthalmic technicians
