</script>To the Editor.— In the JanuaryArchives, Freeman et al (1982;118:40-41) and Debois (1982;118:42-43) described skin metastases from malignant neoplasms of the uterus. Neither article gives a definite explanation for the route of such rare metastases. In both instances, the authors might well have considered spread via the vertebral venous system as a possible, indeed likely, mode of metastasis. 1-3
