Late cutaneous leishmaniasis is an uncommon sequela of Oriental sore; its incidence has been poorly defined, but variously reported in the range of 3% to 10%. The disease is most difficult to treat and relapse is frequent. Intralesional pentavalent antimony was used successfully in this case, and to date no recurrence has been noted.
