Abstract

people experience significant psychological stress and traumatic experiences, and therefore the provision of timely and effective psychological assistance is necessary for the further successful rehabilitation of the victims. Psychogenic influences that manifest themselves in the course of a person's life in the conditions of war are capable of destroying both mental and somatic health. In Ukraine, the number of servicemen who urgently need psychological help to increase their own resilience is constantly increasing, seeking to neutralize or at least weaken the effect of wartime stress factors. It is worth stating that the request for psychological help in connection with traumatic experiences and post-traumatic symptoms is urgent. This determines the relevance of the problem of identifying the psychological aspects of military servicemen's overcoming of mental trauma in the conditions of war. The active interest of domestic scientists and practitioners in identifying and overcoming the consequences of psychotrauma in the conditions of war prompts the development of a theoretical basis and an effective complex of modern psychotechniques adapted for use in modern society. Purpose. It is noted that the purpose of the article is to characterize the priority psychological aspects of servicemen overcoming the effects of mental trauma during their professional tasks in the combat zone. Methods. Within the framework of the implementation of the defined goal, a complex of interrelated research methods was used, namely: scientific analysis, systematization, modeling of perspectives, assessment of generalization and interpretation of conceptual provisions. Types of manifestation and psychological signs of post-traumatic stress disorders are considered and analyzed. Certain groups of psychological signs of post-traumatic stress disorders are singled out (re-experiencing traumatic events; trying to avoid those experiences that remind of certain traumatic events; presence of inadequacy of reactions during interaction with those around) and effective ways to reduce their symptoms by acquiring knowledge about: features identification of stress markers and techniques for overcoming them; methods of reducing stress reactions; detection of the first signs of stress and actualization of techniques for their neutralization; psychological methods of blocking negative memories, working through them and developing the ability to focus on current events; formation and development of skills to find meaning in living under any difficult and unbearable circumstances and memories. Effective advice on improving one's psycho-emotional state and effective methods of self-motivation are offered. Conclusions. It is concluded that the psychological aspects of overcoming mental trauma identified and characterized above are intended to contribute to the optimization of psychological support for the preservation of mental life in conditions of war through the comprehensive use of modern psychotechniques aimed at overcoming the consequences of psychological trauma in servicemen who performed professional tasks within the territories where active combat operations are conducted . This will help prevent the development of post-traumatic stress disorders in servicemen, optimize their mental states, restore optimal performance and constructive interaction with the environment. The use of the proposed approaches will make it possible to organize the provision of appropriate psychological assistance and psychological support to the specified category of persons and their families, while teaching effective methods of self-regulation and stress management. All this will contribute to the faster recovery and improvement of the quality of life and professional efficiency of servicemen who have suffered psychological trauma caused by the realities of war.
