Introduction. The present economic landscape in Ukraine is marked by turbulence and uncertainty stemming from economic crises and military aggression. Among the sectors significantly affected is the real estate market. The country is embroiled in armed conflict, further complicating real estate valuations. The repercussions of war, including property damage and shifts in the economic climate, underscore the relevance of the chosen topic. Purpose. This research aims to identify key aspects of real estate valuation during times of war. Methods. The research methodology involves analyzing theoretical and methodological approaches to real estate valuation, reviewing recent research and publications, studying normative acts, and examining problematic aspects of valuation. Results. During times of war, there is a critical need for accurate valuation to determine damages and facilitate fair compensation. However, there are significant challenges and ambiguities in defining the requirements for measuring the economic value of damages. Currently, there is a lack of standardized methods for quantifying damage indicators. Therefore, there is a necessity for standardization and the development of unified, scientifically rigorous methods to address this issue. Conclusion. Valuing real estate during times of war presents complex challenges that require a comprehensive approach. Developing standardized methods for assessing damages is crucial for ensuring consistency and reliability in economic measurements.
