Healthy school – healthy family of the community within the framework of the Ukrainian-Swiss project “Act for health”

Abstract

The article presents the results of a scientific analysis of the implementation of the whole-school approach “Healthy School Model” in the educational space of Ukraine in the context of the implementation of the Ukrainian-Swiss project “Act for Health”. This article aims to research and analyse the practical experience of implementing the whole-school approach, the “Healthy School Model”, in partner educational institutions, with a focus on revealing the components and their elements for the effective development of a healthy educational environment. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the study are substantiated, and the relevance of integrating health-promoting components into the educational process and their significant impact on the formation of a healthy lifestyle culture among participants in the educational process and the community are emphasized. A detailed analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of the eight key components of this model is carried out, confirmed best practices are demonstrated and possible directions for further development of this approach in the national education system are outlined.
