MONITORING HYDROCARBON GAS LEAKS IN VEHICLES

Abstract

The main sources of pollution in road transport are considered. The impact of pollution on humans is analyzed. Regulatory acts on limiting pollution in transport are analyzed. The types of harmful substances that are controlled in cars are indicated and the shortcomings of current legislation are indicated. The analysis of MQ series sensors is performed, which are used to measure the concentration of such air pollutants as: butane, isobutane, propane, propane-butane, methane, alcohol, hydrogen, smoke, alcohol vapors, natural gas, carbon monoxide, carbon gases, gasoline, alcohol. 3 device schemes for detecting the presence of pollution in the air are proposed: a simple detector with light indexing, a gas analyzer based on a microcontroller with text and graphic display on the screen. A description of the operation of the equipment and the microcontroller software algorithm are given. Recommendations for setting up sensors and proposals for further improving the device are given.

Розглянуто основні джерела забруднення на автомобільному транспорті. Виконано аналіз впливу забруднення на людину. Проаналізовано нормативні акти щодо обмеження забруднення на транспорті. Зазначені типи шкідливих речовин, які контролюються на автомобілі та вказані недоліки діючого законодавства. Виконано аналіз датчиків серії MQ, яки застосовуються для виміру концентрації таких забруднень повітря, як: бутану, ізобутану, пропану, пропан-бутану, метану, спирту, водень, диму, парів спирту, природного газу, чадного газу, вуглецевих газів, бензину, алкоголю. Запропоновано 3 схемі пристрою для виявлення присутності забруднення у повітрі: простій детектор зі світловою індексацією, газоаналізатор на базі мікроконтролера з текстовою та графічною індикацією на екрані. Наведено опис роботі устаткування та алгоритм програмного забезпечення мікроконтролера. Дані рекомендації з налаштування датчиків та пропозиції подальшого вдосконалення пристрою.
