Introduction. Rural territories of Ukraine are an important component of social and economic development, however, in war conditions they undergo significant destruction, which complicates ensuring their viability, food security and preservation of natural resources. Sustainable development in these conditions becomes critically important for meeting the needs of the population and creating the foundations for long-term recovery. Methods. The comprehensive approach, combining the analysis of sustainable development principles and identifying key tasks for the recovery of rural areas in social, economic, environmental, and security spheres were used in the article. Recommendations have been developed for their adaptation to wartime conditions. Results. The key principles of sustainable development were identified, including ensuring social equality, economic sustainability and environmental security. The main tasks were formulated, aimed at supporting local communities, restoring infrastructure, preserving the natural environment and increasing the level of public activity. Discussion. The implementation of the developed tasks and principles will ensure the effective restoration of rural areas of Ukraine in war conditions, laying the foundation for their further sustainable development. Special attention is paid to attracting international assistance, developing local self-government and activating public initiatives.

Вступ. Сільські території України є важливою складовою соціально-економічного розвитку, однак в умовах війни вони зазнають значних руйнувань, що ускладнює забезпечення їх життєздатності, продовольчої безпеки та збереження природних ресурсів. Сталий розвиток у цих умовах стає критично важливим для задоволення потреб населення та створення основ для довгострокового відновлення. Методи. У статті використано комплексний підхід, що поєднує аналіз принципів сталого розвитку та визначення основних завдань відновлення сільських територій у соціальній, економічній, екологічній та безпековій сферах. Розроблено рекомендації для їх адаптації до умов воєнного часу. Результати. Визначено ключові принципи сталого розвитку, включаючи забезпечення соціальної рівності, економічної стійкості та екологічної безпеки. Сформульовано основні завдання, спрямовані на підтримку місцевих громад, відновлення інфраструктури, збереження природного середовища та підвищення рівня громадської активності. Перспективи. Реалізація розроблених завдань і принципів дозволить забезпечити ефективне відновлення сільських територій України в умовах війни, закладаючи фундамент для їх подальшого сталого розвитку. Особлива увага приділяється залученню міжнародної допомоги, розвитку місцевого самоврядування та активізації громадських ініціатив.
