EMBRYOTOPOGRAPHY OF THE ROOTS OF SOME CRANIAL NERVES IN THE AREA OF THE CEREBELLOPONTINE ANGLE

Abstract

62 series of sections of 4-70mm parietococcygeal length human embryos have been studied by means of microscopy methods and morphometry. The transformation and topography of the ganglia and roots of facial, intermediate, vestibular and cochlear nerves in the brain and the internal acoustic meatus are described.
