Criteria in selecting agents for premedication in the outpatient practice of a dentist

Abstract

An analytical bibliographical review analyzing the causes of stress during an inpatient stomatological reception has been carried out. A psychological characteristic of individuals with predominating asthenic personality traits is presented and a dependence of the efficacy of using different groups of psychotropic pharmacological agents, depending on the individual typological attributes of a personality is shown.
