Information and Legal Issues in the Context of the Sustainable Development Concept

Information and Legal Issues in the Context of the Sustainable Development Concept

Abstract

This paper analyzes the influence of the sustainable development concept on modern information law. The concept of sustainable development is an important program document with ambitious goals for overcoming global problems of human development. In legal science, the concept of sustainable development has traditionally been considered a principle of environmental law and, to a lesser extent, a general principle. The development of the modern world, driven by the technological revolution and digital transformations, has also changed the approaches and tasks for legally regulating information-related social relations. Based on an analysis of scientific works, an area for further scientific research has been identified. This paper identifies the main tasks for information law in the context of sustainable development and digital transformations.
