The functional stability of the equipment is to be understood as its ability to perform its prescribed functions under the influence of the destabilizing factors. The authors believe that such destabilizing factors are peculiar operating conditions which have a considerable influence on the smooth running. Under the smoothness of movement of military equipment, determined by their suspension, understand the adaptation to the movement of roads with high speeds and with minimal fluctuations of cushioned and unsprung masses. Suspension affects the traction and speed qualities, the comfort and fatigue of the driver and passengers, the safety of transported goods. Suspension design determines the average speed of movement and, consequently, the effectiveness of performance of service and combat missions, in particular, the timeliness of delivery of personnel and the necessary cargo, productivity and cost of transportation, road safety and other indicators of the effectiveness of operation of vehicles. The smooth running depends on the design of vehicles, the distribution of masses on the axes, the location of the centre of gravity, the stiffness of springs and shock absorbers, the ratio of the weight of cushioned and unsprung masses, the coefficient of mass distribution. The authors have analyzed the influence of vibration loads on the driver and passengers. The vibration process is presented taking into account specific correlation functions and energy parameters.
У статті проаналізовано вплив вібраційних навантажень на водія і пасажирів. Коливальний процес розглянуто з урахуванням конкретних кореляційних функцій і енергетичних параметрів.
