Yevgeniy Stankovich: Three Strokes to the Portrait

Abstract

This is an artistic portrait of a famous Ukrainian contemporary composer Ye. Stankovich. The article is dedicated to analyzing the artist's three main professional personalities: composer, public figure in music, teacher (“Figure”); researching the genres and intonations in his art (“Roots”); defining the meaning of the composer’s work in the history of music (“Mission”).

Очерчен творческий портрет выдающегося украинского композитора современности Е. Станковича; рассмотрены три главных ипостаси художника: композитор, музыкально-общественный деятель, преподаватель («Фигура»); исследованы жанрово-интонационные основы его творчества («Корни»); определено место композитора в музыкально-историческом процессе («Миссия»).

Окреслено творчий портрет видатного українського композитора сучасності Є. Станковича; здійснено аналіз головних іпостасей митця: композитор, музично-громадський діяч, викладач («Постать»); досліджено жанрово-інтонаційну основу його музики («Коріння»); з’ясовано місце творчості композитора в музично-історичному процесі («Місія»).
