METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINING RISK GROUPS OF MILITARY PERSONNEL OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE WITH URGENT ADDICTION

Abstract

Introduction. Globalization, information, and technological processes taking place in the world lead to a constant complication of professional activities of specialists. Significant workloads, adverse effects of information, socio-economic, communication, and stress factors lead to a decrease in productivity, quality, reliability, and occupational safety, a reduction in professional achievements, and the emergence of psychosomatic and professional deformities of the individual - addiction and addictive behavior. The problem of developing addictive behavior has fully affected the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. That is why it is important to develop effective methods for identifying high-risk groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with urgent addiction, their further psychological rehabilitation based on the development and coordination of interdisciplinary approaches. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the methodology for determining the risk groups of behavioral addictions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the course of professional activity. Methods: system of general scientific research methods: analysis of scientific research on the problems of urgent addiction, addictive behavior, diagnosis of behavioral addictions - to summarize the theoretical positions and practical results of domestic and foreign scientists on the concepts and essence of psychosomatic and professional deformations of the personality; empirical methods: analysis and classification of diagnostic methods of personality, systematic approach - to substantiate the methodology for determining the risk groups of behavioral addictions in the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Originality. The problem of timely diagnosis of the manifestations of the main behavioral addictions of military personnel is identified. For the first time, a methodology for identifying addictive risk groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was developed and tested. The methodology provides information on the risk of developing such types of addiction as labor, urgency, social media and Internet surfing, computer/online games, gambling, etc. The developed methodology can be used in the work of military psychologists, teachers, and in structures that provide psychological support to personnel. Conclusion. The relevance of the study of personality deformation in professional activity due to the emergence of urgent addiction and addictive behavior is shown. Theoretical approaches and technologies for psychological diagnosis of persons with addictive behavior are generalized. A methodology for determining the addictive risk groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been developed. The main directions for further research: identification of various factors and mechanisms of development and prevention of urgent addiction, addiction, their varieties, addictive behavior.

У статті показується актуальність дослідження деформації особистості в професійній діяльності внаслідок виникнення ургентної адикції, адикивної поведінки. На основі узагальнення теоретичних підходів і технологій щодо психологічного діагностування обґрунтовується методика визначення груп адиктивного ризику військовослужбовців Збройних Сил України.
