PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITY IN UKRAINE

PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITY IN UKRAINE

Abstract

Considering global difficulties, at the stage of formation of a developed market economy in Ukraine, solving problems of innovation in all spheres of social life in the war, and the post -war period is becoming increasingly relevant. The article examines the prospects for the development of investment activity in Ukraine during the full -scale war in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to investigate the prospects for the development of investment activity in Ukraine. It has been proven that due to objective circumstances, the economy of Ukraine is lagging behind the world level, and the development and implementation of innovations requires the use of a comprehensive approach and taking into account the costs of protection. The volume of foreign direct investment per capita for individual countries of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia for 2021 has been analyzed. Significant problems for Ukraine's investment activity are identified, especially in the system-structural aspect. A structural analysis of foreign direct investment in Ukraine by major countries of origin was carried out for 2021-2022. The specific structure of investment financing in Ukraine leads to systemic and structural problems in the short and long term. In particular, the dominance of own sources of financing combined with the low weight of the funding involved indicates a significant limitation of capital investment financing in Ukraine. On the basis of the analysis of systemic and structural features of investment activity in Ukraine, the article offers a set of scientific and practical recommendations aimed at strengthening the work of this institution in the short and long term, as at the level of the national economy as a whole and at the level of individual enterprises. Accordingly, this requires the implementation of active measures by the state to activate other sources of funding to achieve higher and long -term results in the context of Ukraine's investment activity. A set of recommendations consisting of three interrelated blocks is proposed: financial and economic measures; regulatory and legal measures; communication and popularization.
