Transformational processes in Ukraine, in the educational field in particular, are oriented towards the developmental vectors of European Union countries and the world community, thus aimed at strengthening the scientific direction, namely research and experimental, design, etc. The result of these processes is the stabilization of the international division of labor markets, the movement of capital, human and technological resources on a planetary scale; interweaving of cultures, abilities, skills, emotions, potentials, etc. We consider STEAM education as an important criterion for increasing competitiveness in the global labor market, therefore we considered the aspects of the STEAM approach in education: key issues, tasks, important stages of implementation, prospects and formation of the STEAM education environment.The analysis of the current state of implementation of science and mathematics education revealed problems arising from the combined issues of general secondary education. The goal of the study is to outline the main tasks of the effectiveness of STEAM implementation process in the educational process of the New Ukrainian School. Methods od research applied: theoretical method to analyze scientific sources, generalization, analysis and comparison of main aspects of the issue under research. Lifelong learning becomes an important competence of Ukrainian society and education, since the task of the STEAM-education era is to prepare students of various ages to master the skills of technical systems; development of educational strategies that include designed specialized programs as a set of integrative interdisciplinary approaches to each of the STEAM courses. And the effectiveness of achieving success requires coordination of efforts and balanced, consistent actions of the entire Ukrainian society over a long period of time.

Мета нашого дослідження: окреслити основні завдання ефективності процесу впровадження STEAM освіти в освітній процес України. Для досягнення поставленої мети ми використали методи: аналіз фахових джерел, узагальнення, аналіз та порівняння основних аспектів проблеми, що досліджується. В межах нашого дослідження ми проводимо порівняння між умовами реалізованих країн з «економічними зірками» та трансформаційними процесами українського суспільства. В зв’язку з цим розглянуто аспекти STEAM-освіти як важливого критерію підвищення конкурентно-здатності на світовому ринку праці: ключові питання, завдання, важливі етапи реалізації, перспективи та формування середовища STEAM-освіти. Проте аналіз сучасного стану впровадження природничо-математичної освіти виявив проблеми, які випливають із сукупних проблем сфери загальної середньої освіти, і цьому також ми приділили окрему увагу. Завданням епохи STEAM-освіти є оволодіння здобувачами освіти різного віку навичками технічних систем; розробка освітніх стратегій, які включають проектовані програми як набір інтеграційних міждисциплінарних підходів до кожної зі STEAM-дисципліни. А результативність досягнення успіху потребує координації зусиль та виважених послідовних дій усього українського суспільства упродовж тривалого часу.
