THEORETICAL MODEL OF SUBJECTIVE PERSONAL WELL-BEING

THEORETICAL MODEL OF SUBJECTIVE PERSONAL WELL-BEING

Abstract

Introduction. In today's conditions of constant growth in the tension of globalization processes due to economic crises, wars, disease pandemics, the importance of preserving the psychological health of citizens and their well-being is increasing. The interdisciplinary nature of the study of well-being implies its definition taking into account the various conditions of a personality existence as a multifactorial construct in relation to social, psychological, spiritual, cultural and economic factors of the environment. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to determine the psychological content of the structural components of the subjective well-being of a personality. The realization of the set goal involves solving the tasks: 1) analysis and systematization of scientific approaches to determining the structure of the subjective well-being of a personality; 2) analysis of the leading models of the subjective well-being of a personality, their components and parameters in the studies of Ukrainian and foreign scientists; 3) development of the author's model of the subjective well-being of a personality on this basis. Methods. Theoretical research methods are applied: analysis, systematization, comparison and generalization, interpretation of modern theoretical and empirical research in Ukrainian and foreign psychology. Originality. The article analyzes the problems of researching the structure of subjective well-being of a personality in psychology, which expands the understanding of existing models of subjective well-being. The author's contribution consists in the generalization and systematization of modern concepts of the structure and components of the subjective well-being of a personality and the development of his author's model. Conclusion. In our opinion, the component structure of subjective well-being should include: subjective evaluative experiences of events and phenomena, their various aspects; the quality levels of various spheres of life related to the performance of certain social roles; awareness and experience of the meaning of one's life as a whole and individual aspects of life; the influence on these processes of the individual and psychological characteristics of the subject himself, the level of his personal and professional maturity, features of identity, worldview, life guidelines. Along with this, the described components and their parameters function systematically, integrated with each other and reflected in the past, present and future time.
