The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of events as an important cultural and artistic phenomenon in modern Ukrainian society. The purpose of the research is to conduct a thorough analysis of events, identify their essential characteristics and functional features, and determine their cultural and artistic value in the context of national culture. The paper clarifies the essence and content of the concept of ‘event’ in domestic scientific research, which makes it possible to outline its key features and differences from related concepts. Particular attention is paid to studying the meaning and mission of modern events and their role in shaping the cultural landscape and influencing social processes. Emphasis is placed on the close interconnection of events with various cultural and artistic practices, particularly visual and theatrical arts, highlighting their synthetic nature and potential for interdisciplinary interaction. Research methodology. The methodological basis for researching the cultural and artistic value of events is an interdisciplinary approach. It combines the use of various methods, theoretical knowledge and analytical tools from different scientific specialities, which provides the opportunity for a comprehensive analysis of an event as a multifaceted cultural and artistic phenomenon. The cultural studies approach makes it possible to consider an event as an integral part of culture, to determine its place and role in the processes of creating social meanings, transmitting cultural codes and forming symbols. An art history approach is used to objectively determine the artistic value of events and identify their genre characteristics and specifics. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the comprehensive analysis of the event as a multifunctional phenomenon that combines artistic, social, communicative and other aspects. An attempt was made to systematically determine the cultural and creative value of such events in the Ukrainian context. Conclusions. The cultural and artistic value of events is ensured mainly by the organic combination of elements of different types of art, which gives them exceptional artistic depth, emotional richness and multilayeredness. It has been proven that modern events can fulfil a critical social and humanitarian mission, especially in martial law conditions, contributing to psychological support, preserving cultural identity and consolidating society.

Стаття присвячена комплексному дослідженню івентів як важливому культурно- мистецького феномену в сучасному українському суспільстві. Метою дослідження є всебічний аналіз івентів, з’ясування сутнісних характеристик, функціональних особливостей та визначення їхньої культурно-мистецької цінності в контексті національної культури. У роботі уточнено сутність та зміст поняття «івент» у вітчизняних наукових дослідженнях, що дає змогу окреслити його ключові ознаки та відмінності від суміжних понять. Особливу увагу приділено вивченню значення та місії сучасних івентів, їхній ролі у формуванні культурного ландшафту та впливу на соціальні процеси. Акцентовано на тісному взаємозв’язоку івентів з різноманітними культурно-мистецькими практиками, зокрема з візуальним і театральним мистецтвом, що підкреслює їхню синтетичну природу й потенціал для міждисциплінарної взаємодії. Методологічною основою дослідження культурно-мистецької цінності івентів є міждисциплінарний підхід. Він поєднує використання різноманітних методів, теоретичних знань та аналітичних інструментів з різних наукових спеціальностей, що забезпечує можливість всебічного аналізу івенту як багатогранного культурно-мистецького явища. Культурологічний підхід надає можливість розглянути івент як невід’ємний складник культури, визначити його місце та роль у процесах творення суспільних сенсів, трансляції культурних кодів і формування символів. Для об’єктивного визначення художньої цінності івентів, виявлення їхніх жанрових особливостей та специфіки застосовано мистецтвознавчий підхід. Наукова новизна проведеного дослідження полягає у комплексному аналізі івенту як багатофункціонального явища, що поєднує в собі мистецькі, соціальні, комунікаційні й інші аспекти. Здійснено спробу системного визначення культурно-мистецької цінності таких заходів в українському контексті. Висновки. Культурно-мистецька цінність івентів значною мірою забезпечується органічним поєднанням елементів різних видів мистецтва, що надає їм особливої художньої глибини, емоційної насиченості й багатошаровості. Доведено, що сучасні івенти здатні виконувати важливу соціально-гуманітарну місію, особливо в умовах воєнного стану, сприяючи психологічній підтримці, збереженню культурної ідентичності та консолідації суспільства.
