THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF AESTHETIC EDUCATION OF PRIMARY EDUCATION STUDENTS IN ART LESSONS

Abstract

The article carries out a bibliographic analysis of the problem of aesthetic education of younger schoolchildren in art lessons. Modern approaches to the aesthetic education of primary education students from the standpoint of aesthetics, pedagogy and art education are characterized. From the standpoint of aesthetics as a philosophical science, the aesthetic education of younger schoolchildren is considered as a specific type of pedagogical activity in order to form a system of orientation in the world of aesthetic and artistic values in primary school students in accordance with the ideas about its nature and purpose that have developed in this particular society. In the pedagogical literature, the aesthetic education of primary education students, in addition to developing their orientation in the world of aesthetic values, introduces them to these values, develops aesthetic taste and ideal, forms the ability of a junior schoolchild to aesthetic perception and experience, to creativity according to the laws of beauty, to create aesthetic values. The leading approach to the modernization of primary general art education in Ukraine is based on the idea of humane and aesthetic development of the individual, which provides for the orientation of general art education in primary school to encourage students to aesthetically experience the humanistic values of art as a means of their personal development. The result of aesthetic education is a person with a stable aesthetic worldview, which is based on universal values and priorities. The analysis of scientific sources on aesthetics, pedagogy and art shows that the formation of aesthetic education of younger schoolchildren is an urgent problem of our time. In scientific research, aesthetic education of primary education students in art lessons is conceived as a purposeful process of familiarizing younger students with aesthetic categories, forming their interest, ability to perceive, emotional-value attitude, interpretation and creation of aesthetic values, aesthetically active self-expression in accordance with primary school age, acquired aesthetic knowledge, taste and experience, developed abilities for creativity.

У статті здійснено бібліографічний аналіз проблеми естетичного виховання молодших школярів на уроках мистецтва. Схарактеризовано сучасні підходи до естетичного виховання здобувачів початкової освіти з позицій естетики, педагогіки та мистецької освіти. Розглянуто естетичне виховання учнів початкових класів як процес опредметнення і присвоєння суб’єктом естетичних цінностей шляхом формування на уроках мистецтва естетичного ставлення до них у художньо-естетичній діяльності самої дитини.
