Abstract

У статті розглядаються новітні російські дослідження, присвячені початку Великої Вітчизняної війни. Автори аналізують основні версії причин, що зумовили напад Німеччини на СРСР, зокрема щодо того, хто ж першим почав готуватися до війни. Одним із факторів, які спричинили агресивну політику Німеччини, чимало дослідників вбачають політику самого СРСР. Обгрунтовується висновок, що нестача документів дає нині історикам широке поле для різноманітних домислів, тому до сьогодні досягти з цього питання консенсусу так і не вдалося.
