Developing Leadership Communicative Competence among Military Students of Higher Military Educational Institutions through Communicative and Etiquette Coaching

Abstract

Introduction. The article is devoted to the current problem of forming leadership communicative competence among military students of higher military educational institutions through communicative and etiquette coaching. Військова освіта 1 (51), 2025 Purpose is to reveal the specifics and leading features of leadership communication, to develop a technological approach to the formation of leadership communicative competence of competence among military students of higher military educational institutions through communicative and etiquette coaching. Methods: analysis of scientific publications, generalization of best practices in teaching leadership communication in the continuing education system, modeling the structure of leadership communicative competence and communicative etiquette coaching, forecasting prospects for further research into the problem. Results. We have determined the theoretical foundations of leadership communication, the principles and rules of its organization in the military team. We have identified the main communicative barriers that leadership communication should be aimed at overcoming. We have revealed the essence and structure of leadership communicative competence, developed a technological approach to its formation using communicative and etiquette coaching. We have prepared samples of training tasks for the methodical provision of creative forms of improving military studentsʼ communicative skills. Originality. We first revealed the essence of leadership communicative competence, modeled its structure, developed a technology for intensive practical training of military students, and worked out variable models of conducting communicative and etiquette coaching for teaching adult students. Conclusion. Based on the conducted research, we found out the existence of differences in views on the essence of leadership communication and approaches to its organization in the conditions of the educational process, in identifying the results of the leaderʼs communicative training. Thanks to the study of current scientific research, we proved the urgency of technologizing communicative leadership training, the priority of communicative and etiquette coaching for effectively solving the identified problems. The theoretical basis of leadership communication is the leading provisions of the theory of symbolic convergence on the need to organize interpersonal communication on the basis of symbolic images, figurative language for the formation of group consciousness and solidarity; constructivism on individual differences in the ability to communicate skillfully in social situations; the phenomenological tradition on the focus of communication on self- and mutual knowledge through dialogue; the critical theory of communication in organizations on the focus of the communicative process on the creation and preservation of social reality, the constant social construction of meanings and meanings. We have defined the theoretical basis of leadership communication, the principles and rules of its organization in the military team. We have identified the main communicative barriers that leadership communication should be aimed at overcoming. We have revealed the essence and structure of leadership communicative competence, developed a technological approach to its formation using communicative and etiquette coaching. To do this, we have clarified the coaching content, worked out variable models of conducting communicative and etiquette coaching for military students s, and sample training tasks for methodical support of creative forms of improving communication skills.

Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі практичної підготовки слухачів ВВНЗ до лідерської комунікації з використанням комунікативно-етикетного коучингу. Проаналізовано сучасні теоретичні та прикладні розвідки з актуальних питань лідерської комунікації, узагальнено передовий університетський досвід її методичної підтримки у системі неперервної освіти. З’ясовано наявні розходження в поглядах на сутність лідерської комунікації та підходах до її організації в умовах освітнього процесу, в ідентифікації результатів комунікативної підготовки лідера. Доведено нагальність технологізації комунікативної лідерської підготовки, пріоритетність комунікативно-етикетного коучингу для ефективного вирішення виявлених проблем. Визначено теоретичну основу лідерської комунікації, принципи і правила її організації у військовому колективі. Виокремлено основні комунікативні бар’єри, на подолання яких має бути спрямована лідерська комунікація. Розкрито сутність і структуру лідерської комунікативної компетентності, розроблено технологічний підхід до її формування з використанням комунікативно-етикетного коучингу. Для цього конкретизовано коучинговий зміст, відпрацьовано варіативні моделі проведення комунікативно-етикетного коучингу для слухачів, зразки тренувальних завдань для методичного забезпечення творчих форм удосконалення комунікативних навичок.
