The scientific task of our article is to reveal the issue of manifestation, causes, psychoprophylaxis of deviant and delinquent behavior of an individual in conditions of political and social instability. Research methods. This article uses a theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, thanks to which the subject of the study was studied (i.e., psychoprophylaxis of deviant and delinquent behavior of an individual in conditions of political and social instability). In addition, thanks to the dismemberment of the subject of knowledge, signs, properties, species and types were singled out, which made it possible to study in more detail not only the manifestations and causes of deviant and delinquent behavior of an individual, but also to understand how to implement psychoprophylaxis of such behavior in conditions of political and social instability. Empirical methods - observation, conversation, structured interview. Research results. Revealed manifestations, causes of deviant and delinquent behavior of an individual in conditions of political and social instability and outline the main directions of psychoprophylactic work to prevent manifestations of deviant and delinquent behavior in conditions of political and social instability. Conclusions. Unstable political and social conditions are a catalyst for the formation of deviant and delinquent behavior of an individual, as well as negatively affect the mental health of a person and the decline of society as a whole. The psychoprophylaxis of deviant and delinquent behavior of an individual should be understood as a complex of purposeful collective and individual influences on a person's consciousness, feelings and will, with the aim of making them immune to negative effects of social and political conditions, preventing antisocial orientation, their antisocial behavior and restructuring of a person's attitude to the surrounding reality. The prospect of further research consists in a more detailed study of all directions of psycho-prophylactic work, regarding the prevention of manifestations of deviant and delinquent behavior caused by conditions of political and social instability.
