TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND ITS ROLE IN FORMING LEADERSHIP QUALITIES OF FUTURE PSYCHOLOGISTS IN INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

The article examines the origins of transformational leadership and its role in shaping the leadership qualities of future psychologists in institutions of higher education; the importance of the causes of transformational leadership for the organization is revealed, the names of the founders of the concept of transformational leadership are given; justified transformational leadership in psychology as an approach aimed at changing and developing followers through inspiration, motivation and individual support; the reasons for the importance of transformational leadership for the organization are given (increasing motivation and commitment, developing innovations, improving teamwork, supporting individual development, creating a positive culture); the main elements of transformational leadership (charisma, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individual approach) are considered; the key aspects and methods of forming leadership qualities in future psychologists are revealed (self-assessment and self-reflection, communication skills, emotional intelligence, organizational abilities, motivation and striving for self-realization, training and development); reasons for importance are substantiated emotional intelligence for a transformational leader (understanding and managing emotions, building trust and cooperation).

У статті розглянуто витоки походження трансформаційного лідерства та його роль у формуванні лідерських якостей майбутніх психологів у закладах вищої освіти; розкрито важливість причин трансформаційного лідерства для організації, наведено імена представників-основоположників концепції трансформаційного лідерства; обґрунтовано трансформаційне лідерство в психології як підхід, спрямований на зміну і розвиток послідовників через натхнення, мотивацію та індивідуальну підтримку; наведено причини важливості трансформаційного лідерства для організації (підвищення мотивації та залученості, розвиток інновацій, покращення командної роботи, підтримка індивідуального розвитку, створення позитивної культури); розглянуто основні елементи трансформаційного лідерства (харизма, натхненна мотивація, інтелектуальна стимуляція, індивідуальний підхід); розкрито ключові аспекти та методи формування лідерських якостей у майбутніх психологів (самооцінка та саморефлексія, комунікативні навички, емоційний інтелект, організаторські здібності, мотивація та прагнення до самореалізації, навчання та розвиток); обґрунтовано причини важливості емоційного інтелекту для трансформаційного лідера (розуміння та управління емоціями, побудова довіри та співпраці).
