CHANGES OF THE LEVELOF EICOSANOIDS LEVEL IN PATIENTS WITH ATHEROSCLEROTIC OCCLUSION OF THE ARTERIES OF FEMOROPOPLITEAL SEGMENT

Abstract

The level of prostaglandins Е2, F2a, 6-keto-PGF1a, TxB2 has been evaluated in patients with atherosclerotic occlusion of thearteries of the femoropopliteal segment. It has been detected that the content of prostaglandin E2, possessing the effect of cytoprotection, diminishes sharply within the bounds of the atherosclerotic affection.
