THE CONCEPT OF «MANIPULATION»: ESSENCE AND CONTEXTS

THE CONCEPT OF «MANIPULATION»: ESSENCE AND CONTEXTS

Abstract

The paper contains information about the essence of the manipulation as a technology of communicative influence, considers the main approaches to understanding the concept of «manipulation». It is proposed to consider the concept of «manipulation» in two aspects: physical (object of influence - things) and psychological (object of influence - consciousness). The concept of «benefit from the use of manipulative techniques» should be considered in the context of achieving the goals set by the subject of influence.
