This article analyzes the main approaches to defining the concept of "financial resources" and their role in Ukraine's relations with international financial institutions, contains the author's definition of the term "financial resources". It also highlights the main aspects and areas of Ukraine's cooperation with leading international financial institutions, emphasizes the identified shortcomings in the researched area, emphasizes the need to improve Ukraine's policy on cooperation with international financial organizations. The purpose of the article is to analyze the main approaches to defining the concept of "financial resources" and outline their role in Ukraine's relations with international financial institutions. The research methodology is based on scientific analysis to investigate the essence and significance of financial resources of international financial institutions in the process of economic development of Ukraine. The issue of Ukraine's relations with international financial institutions has always been and continues to be in the center of attention of scientists, politicians, and government officials. Considerable attention is paid to researching the problems of attracting international financial resources to the national economy, analyzing the peculiarities of the investment climate in Ukraine and its impact on investment processes, the impact of investments on innovation processes in the country, the reasons for the low level of investment activity. However, issues related to finding mechanisms for increasing the efficiency of Ukraine's cooperation with international financial institutions, establishing advantages and identifying problems of international cooperation for our country remain relevant. In general, it was concluded that Ukraine's interaction with international financial institutions should flow from the objective conditions of economic development, take into account internal and external factors of influence and a global perspective, and be based on preliminary comprehensive assessments of possible positive and negative consequences.

У статті проаналізовано основні підходи до визначення поняття «фінансові ресурси» та їх роль у взаємовідносинах України з міжнародними фінансовими інституціями. Наведено авторське визначення поняття «фінансові ресурси». Висвітлено основні аспекти та галузі співпраці України з провідними міжнародними фінансовими установами. Підкреслено значимість такої взаємодії як показника інтеграції країни в світове господарство. Розглянуто основні міжнародні фінансові установи та організації , з якими вже нароблено позитивний досвід співпраці, проаналізовано напрями та досвід їх діяльності, а також деякі результати співпраці з Україною. Акцентовано увагу на виявлених недоліках у досліджуваній сфері. Наголошено на необхідності удосконалення політики України щодо співробітництва з міжнародними фінансовими організаціями. Загалом, зроблено висновки, що на сучасному етапі міжнародні фінансові установи та міжнародні організації відіграють дуже важливу роль, і, зважаючи на складне фінансове становище країни, важливим завданням залишається подальше розширення співробітництва з міжнародними фінансовими установами. Взаємодія України з міжнародними фінансовими інституціями повинна витікати з об’єктивних умов економічного розвитку, враховувати внутрішні та зовнішні фактори впливу і глобальну перспективу та обов’язково базуватись на попередніх комплексних оцінках можливих позитивних і негативних наслідків, що в свою чергу потребує інтенсифікації як теоретичних, так і емпіричних наукових досліджень, запроваджень на їх основі нових практик взаємодії.
