COMBINATION OF COMPLEX FORMATION WITH MEMBRANE WATER PURIFICATION FROM COBALT(II) IONS

COMBINATION OF COMPLEX FORMATION WITH MEMBRANE WATER PURIFICATION FROM COBALT(II) IONS

Abstract

To date, the problem of environmental pollution has not been solved. Іt is becoming more and more serious every year. One of the most dangerous heavy metals is cobalt. The number of sources of Cо(II) ion pollution in Ukraine and in the world is increasing. Conservative methods of water purification from cobalt ions have their drawbacks. Тo increase their cost-effectiveness, scientists offer combined approaches. A combination of the process of complex formation with baromembrane separation is promising for the extraction of cobalt (II) ions from polluted waters. It is shown that the use of polyacrylamide and polyethyleneimine increases the efficiency of baromembrane water purification from Co(II) ions.
