Atypical course of celiac disease in a school-age child (clinical observation)

Atypical course of celiac disease in a school-age child (clinical observation)

Abstract

A clinical observation of an atypical form of celiac disease is presented in a school-age girl. Hereditary enteropathy proceeded oligosymptomatically for a prolonged time, with the appearance of typical clinical picture in the child after 7 years. An early diagnosis of celiac disease and the administration of ethyopathogenetic therapy is accompanied with a regress of clinical symptoms and prevention of the dystrophic syndrome.
