Abstract

The investigations of fundamental and applied problems of coal fields geology at the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are considered in the main directions: geology and petrology of coal-bearing formations, gas content of coal basins and provinces, carbon formations as non-traditional hydrocarbons reservoirs. The prospective directions of research in coal geology are determined.

Освещены исследования фундаментальных и прикладных проблем геологии угольных месторождений в Институте геологических наук НАН Украины по основным направлениям: геология и петрология угленосных формаций, газоносность угольных бассейнов и провинций, углеродные формации как нетрадиционные коллекторы углеводородов. Определены перспективные направления исследований угольной геологии.

Висвітлені дослідження фундаментальних та прикладних проблем геології вугільних родовищ в Інституті геологічних наук НАН України за основними напрямами: геологія та петрологія вугленосних формацій, газоносність вугільних басейнів та провінцій, вуглецеві формації як нетрадиційні колектори вуглеводнів. Визначені перспективні напрями досліджень вугільної геології.
