Accelerated aging and ways for its prevention

Accelerated aging and ways for its prevention

Abstract

Показано, що тривале використання пептидного препарату епiталамiну покращує мелатонiнутворювальну функцiю епiфiза, протидiє зниженню адаптацiйних можливостей у лiтньому вiцi, зменшує смертнiсть лiтнiх хворих на IХС.

The results of the studies of the problem of human accelerated aging are presented in the research. The authors note the principal risk factors of accelerated aging to be influenced upon while elaborating preventive measures, an important role among them belonging to geroprotective agents. It has been shown, a prolonged use of the peptide preparation Epithalamin considerably improved the pineal melatonin-producing function, counteracted the decrease of organism’s adaptive possibilities in aging and reduced mortality rates among IHD patients.
