FIBRINOLYTIC AND PROTEOLYTIC ACTIVITY OF THE DUODENAL MUCOUS MEMBRANE IN HP-NEGATIVE BLEEDING DUODENAL ULCER IN PATIENTS OF ELDERLY AND SENILE AGE

FIBRINOLYTIC AND PROTEOLYTIC ACTIVITY OF THE DUODENAL MUCOUS MEMBRANE IN HP-NEGATIVE BLEEDING DUODENAL ULCER IN PATIENTS OF ELDERLY AND SENILE AGE

Abstract

The effect of acute duodenal bleeding on the dynamics of the indices of the fibrinolytic and proteolytic activity in the duodenalmucous tunic (DMT) has been studied in patients of elderly and senile age depending on the presence of Helicobacter pylori. The indices of the fibrinolytic and proteolytic activity increase upon the occurrence of acute duodenal bleeding with their predomination in patients with HP-negative bleeding ulcer. These indices in the anterior wall of the DMT are higher than in the posterior wall and that has a weightier significance in the onset of an early recurrence of bleeding.
