РЕТРИТИЗМ ЯК ТЕНДЕНЦІЯ ДО ВІДТВОРЕННЯ АНТИКОНСЮМЕРИСТСЬКИХ ПРАКТИК

Abstract

This article is devoted to the trend of retritizm as the main manifestation of the anticonsumer practices. Actual realities are treated by us as a consumer society, based on the ideology which is the process of manipulation of consciousness of the masses. Individuals are tired of consumer values, that leads to the development of the retritizm. In this article we have examined the main types of anticonsumer practices: «voluntary simplicity» as a rejection of materialistic values; downshifting as a departure from the scope of mass consumption;frugalizm as a way of life based on moderation in consumption; freeganism asa lifestyle, which denies the cult of consumerism, the desire to make to the principle of equity and consumer awareness. It is shown that a variety of qualitative and quantitative growth anticonsumer protest can be interpreted as a social reaction to protect themselves from the destructive influence consumer dysfunction. Although conscious consumption significantly reduces the risk ofmanipulation, choice, and reduces the likelihood of a desire to «much more». However, during playback anticonsumer practices of individuals still do not lose the role of consumers, while significantly transform the shape of the process. The social control of public consumption internalization of successfully resist such practices and plays them for their own benefit. Revealed that the consumer society of social control system provokes constant consumption by manipulating the selection and blending of individuals consume more, as a result, the market wins a user. Increasing living standards of most people, but it is also to the detriment of them (not to mention other people, the difference between rich and poor situation only increases) – consumption takes center stage in their life, becomes a basic value. It is against this stands friganіzm (opposition consumerism) as anticonsumer movement. friganіzm as a lifestyle that rejects the cult of consumerism and monetary relations.

Статья посвящена тенденции ретритизма как основного проявления распространения антиконсьюмеристских практик. Актуальные реалии трактуются нами в качестве общества потребления, в основе идеологии которого лежит процесс манипуляции сознанием масс. Усталость индивидов от потребительских ценностей приводит к развитию ретритизма. В рамках данной статьи нами были рассмотрены основные разновидности практик антиконсьюмеризма: «добровольная простота» как отказ от материалистических ценностей; дауншифтинг как уход от сферы массового потребления; фругализм как образ жизни, основанный на сдержанности в потреблении; фриганизм как стиль жизни, отрицающий культ потребительства, стремление внести в процесс потребления принцип справедливости и сознательности.

Стаття присвячена розгляду тенденції ретритизму як основного прояву поширення антиконсюмеристських практик. Актуальні реалії трактуються нами як суспільство споживання, в основі ідеології якого лежить процес маніпуляції свідомістю мас. Утома індивідів від споживчих цінностей призводить до розвитку ретритизму. У рамках даної статті нами було розглянуто основні різновиди практик антиконсюмеризму: «добровільна простота» як відмова від матеріалістичних цінностей; дауншифтінг як відхід від сфери масового споживання; фругалізм як спосіб життя, заснований на стриманості в споживанні; фриганізм як стиль життя, який заперечує культ споживацтва, прагнення внести в процес споживання принцип справедливості і свідомості.
