Abstract

Dans le futur réseau de transport du Grand Paris Express, se déploie le programme « Tandems artistes & architectes » qui prévoit la commande d’œuvres pérennes d’art contemporain pour chacune des 68 nouvelles gares. Ces œuvres sont nombreuses à mobiliser des thématiques en lien avec la nature et les (sous)sols de la région parisienne. De nombreuses images (dessins, plans, modélisations) accompagnent leur processus de conception et contribuent à figer les œuvres dans des états successifs. Cet article interroge la manière dont les professionnel·les travaillant à la conception de ces œuvres fabriquent des images qui visent à adapter les œuvres aux contraintes constructibles du cadre souterrain. Il aborde, en outre, la manière dont ces images sont mobilisées par le maître d’ouvrage des gares pour témoigner d’une attention à l’environnement entourant le chantier d’infrastructure ; et ce dans un contexte d’altérations et d’excavations massives des sols grand-parisiens.
