Radioecological monitoring of natural waters on the territory of Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions was carried out. It was shown that Cs-137 contents in the investigated natural waters does not exceed the level of intervention for drinking water (11 Bq/L). The most Cs-137 contaminated natural water bodies in which monitoring of seasonal fluctuations of specific activity was carried out have been identified. The highest Cs-137 content is typical for Nizhne-Isetsky pond (Yekaterinburg) in autumn time and is 0,71 Bq/L.
