In this article the question about providing opportunities of modern information-oriented society requirements for free improving of young people`s intellectual level is considered. The idea about the need of a combination of children`s formal and nonformal education develops. Results of the theoretical sociological analysis of the problems arising in the Russian families connected with the organization of non-formal education from the point of view of implementation of parental work are given. The conclusion about relevance of allocation a special category in structure of parental labour — the labour on the organization of non-formal education of children and needs to development measures of social support for such a families is drawn.

В статье рассматривается вопрос о возможностях обеспечения по-требностей современного информационно-ориентированного общества в свободном интел-лектуальном развитии молодежи. Развивается идея о необходимости сочетания формального и неформального образования детей. Приводятся результаты теоретического социологического анализа возникающих в российских семьях проблем, связанных с организацией неформального образования, с точки зрения осуществления родительского труда. Делается вывод об актуальности выделения в структуре родительского труда особой категории — работы по организации неформального образования детей и необходимости выработки мер социальной поддержки таких семей.
