Mythonyms of Russian Folk Tales: Linguocultural Aspects of Translation into French

Abstract

The article explores the peculiarities of translating mythonyms from Russian folk tales into French. It examines key translation strategies, linguocultural challenges, and transformations affecting the preservation of national color. The analysis of examples helps assess the effectiveness of different approaches and identify compromises necessary to convey the cultural depth of the original text.

Статья исследует особенности перевода мифонимов из русских народных сказок на французский язык. Рассмотрены основные стратегии перевода, лингвокультурные проблемы и трансформации, влияющие на сохранение национального колорита. Анализ примеров позволяет оценить эффективность подходов и выявить компромиссы, необходимые для передачи глубины культурного контекста оригинала.
