Abstract

As a result of a three-stage analysis of the intensity of the determination of the attitude to the external appearance and its subsequent impact on the assessment of subjective well-being by different gender-age groups (the method of two-factor ANOVA, МАNOVA), the following “hierarchical model” was proposed: belonging to a certain age group has a more intense influence, than gender on the attitude to appearance, which, in turn, has a more intense impact on the assessment of subjective well-being and its components than gender and belonging to the age group.
