Abstract

The article raises the issue of the relationship between chronic overexertion and lower limb injuries of short-distance runners with the specifics and conditions of their sports training. The study was conducted on 15–18-year-old athletes. The patterns of musculoskeletal system injuries and some shortcomings of the training and competition process were revealed.
