Abstract

The paper presents a new method for online measurement of the rate of gas percolation ('filtration') through a bed of iron ore pellets in a travellinggrate / straightgrate indurating machine. The design of a measuring grate bar is described, which allows direct measurement of gas flow rate directly in the pellet bed along the entire machine. With the help of the described device one can measure of gas percolation ('filtration') rate and establish an aerodynamic resistance factor of the pellet bed, which allows to reveal nonuniformity of flow rate in windboxes, and also to optimize the mode of pellet heat treatment. The application of the meter in industrial measurement, the peculiarities of the sensor design and wireless data transmission for longterm monitoring are described. The results obtained contribute to improving the efficiency of travellinggrate / straightgrate indurating machines and the quality of the product.

В докладе представлен новый способ онлайнизмерения скорости фильтрации газов через слой железорудных окатышей на обжиговой машине конвейерного типа. Описана конструкция измерительного колосника, позволяющего проводить прямое измерение расхода газов непосредственно в слое окатышей по всей длине машины. C помощью описываемого устройства проводятся измерения скорости фильтрации и коэффициента аэродинамического сопротивления слоя, что позволяет выявлять неравномерности расхода по вакуум камерам, а также оптимизировать режим термообработки окатышей. Описано применение измерителя при промышленном измерении, особенности конструкции датчика и беспроводной передачи данных для длительного мониторинга. Полученные результаты способствуют повышению эффективности работы обжиговых машин и качества конечного продукта.
