Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of changes in the image of the Great Patriotic War in the post-Soviet period in different sub-periods and in comparison with the Soviet period, which is partially studied and only in a certain subject. The main method of research was to compare the image of the Great Patriotic War in 3 different subperiods of the post-Soviet period and in comparison with the prospective, 4th subperiod. As a result, the study revealed a significant difference between the approaches to shaping the image of the Great Patriotic War in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010–2020s. The general principles of the approach to the elements of the image in different subperiods of time are synthesized.
