Abstract

The results of a study of students’ media literacy in the field of life safety culture and healthy lifestyle are presented. The sources of information on safety measures and rules of conduct in emergency situations are described. It is established that students use social networks, messengers to communicate, get general information about events and incidents, and get real knowledge and skills of safe behavior from the training course “Human life safety”. In the absence of a threat to life and health, students have no motivation to search for useful information in the field of life safety and a healthy lifestyle.
