Abstract

В статье рассматривается эскалация торговых войн между крупнейшими мировыми экономиками, ее причины, механизмы и последствия. В ней подробно анализируются основные причины протекционизма, последствия торговых ограничений для производственно-сбытовых цепочек и экономического роста, а также рассматривается недавний опыт ослабления торговой напряженности и перспективы установления более стабильного и предсказуемого режима международной торговли.

The article elaborates on escalation of trade wars by major global economies, the causes, mechanisms and implications. The article elaborates on the main causes of protectionism, the implications of trade restriction on value chains and economic growth, and reviews recent experience with defusing of trade tensions and prospects for the establishment of a more stable and predictable international trade regime.
