The article is devoted to overseeing the capabilities of increasing the percentage of the population that participates in physical education and sports and at the same time decreasing mass dropouts of children at different stages of sports training by means of integrating and using the hardware and software complex “Become-a‑Champion” in the Sverdlovsk region. Due to the fact, that during the many years process of sports training one of the key factors is the selection of gifted sportsmen that shows a predisposition to the particular type of sport, direct work in sports testing includes a function of an automated system for determining predisposition, that will effectively elevate and develop the sports reserves of the country.

Статья посвящена обзору механизмов, влияющих на количество людей, в том числе детского возраста, систематически занимающихся физической культурой и спортом. В числе таких механизмов особенно интересным представляется результат внедрения и использования аппаратно-программного комплекса «Станьчемпионом» на территории Свердловской области. В связи с тем, что в процессе многолетней спортивной подготовки одним из ключевых факторов является именно отбор одаренных спортсменов, непосредственная работа спортивного тестирования включает в себя функцию автоматизированной системы для определения предрасположенности к определенному виду спорта, что будет повышать и развивать спортивный резерв страны.
