
The article discusses the terms of cooking in Azerbaijani and English languages with different systems. It is noted that acquaintance with different national cuisines leads to the exchange of culinary traditions between different peoples of the world. As a result, new culinary terms are being introduced into the language, enriching the culinary terminology of both languages. The article provides a comparative analysis of culinary terms in the studied languages.
В статье рассматриваются термины кулинарии в разносистемных – азербайджанском и английском – языках. Отмечается, что знакомство с разными национальными кухнями приводит к обмену кулинарными традициями между разными народами мира. В результате в язык входят новые кулинарные термины, обогащающие кулинарную терминологию обоих языков. В статье дается сравнительный анализ кулинарных терминов в исследуемых языках.
