Abstract

This article is devoted to a problem of city branding, in particular, Yekaterinburg. This question in modern society excites many cities of Russia and our city not an exception. Today, it is accepted to allocate four main a brand idea of development of Yekaterinburg. First idea: Yekaterinburg – the sports capital; Second idea: Yekaterinburg – the city of the congresses; Third idea: Yekaterinburg – the capital of Eurasia; Fourth idea: Yekaterinburg – the small Homeland of the first President of the country. In article each theory will be in detail analysed and conclusions on the best brand for Ekaterinburg are drawn.

Данная статья посвящена проблеме городского брендирования, в частности, Екатеринбурга. Этот вопрос в современном обществе волнует многие города России и наш город не исключение Сегодня, принято выделять четыре основных бренд-идеи развития Екатеринбурга. Первая идея: Екатеринбург – спортивная столица; Вторая идея: Екатеринбург – город конгрессов; Третья идея: Екатеринбург – столица Евразии; Четвертая идея: Екатеринбург – малая Родина первого Президента страны. В статье будет подробно проанализирована каждая теория и сделаны выводы по лучшему бренду для Екатеринбурга.
